Not a classroom. Not a vendor showroom. A real training facility.

Purpose-built to replicate the systems students will operate on Day 1 of a real job.

If you can't train on it, you can't learn it.

Every critical facilities training program in the U.S. faces the same constraint: the equipment required to train technicians is the same equipment running live production workloads. You can't interrupt a hyperscale facility to let trainees practice.

FCTech Academy solves this by building dedicated training infrastructure — not simulators, not diagrams, not virtual environments. Real UPS systems. Real cooling units. Real switchgear. Real DCIM. All isolated for hands-on training without the risk of affecting production operations.

This is what we've been operating in Asia for years, training 2,500+ technicians. Now we're building it in San José.

The Asia Training Facility

FCTech Academy's training system has been built and validated at scale. Our Asia training facility — equipped with enterprise-grade infrastructure used in live hyperscale data centers — has trained over 2,500 technicians now deployed to production environments globally. This is not a concept or a proposal. It is a proven operating system that we are now deploying in San José.

🔌

2,300-Rack IT Hall

Production-scale hyperscale infrastructure replicating live operational conditions for authentic hands-on training scenarios.

Emerson Liebert UPS

Actively powered and operational for live fault simulation — UPS failover, load transfer, battery maintenance, and ATS operations.

❄️

Row-Based CCU Precision Cooling

Hands-on maintenance and fault drills across full precision cooling cycle — same configuration as Tier III/IV production facilities.

🔧

KYN-Type MV Switchgear

Medium-voltage switchgear operations, LOTO procedures, and fault response — the same standard as enterprise Tier III/IV data centers.

📊

Full DCIM Monitoring Platform

Live ECC control dashboard, environmental monitoring, and alarm response training on an operational monitoring system.

🔥

Fire Protection Systems

Detection, alarm, and suppression system training — inspection procedures, alarm panel operations, and emergency response coordination.

What Students Do Here

  • Execute real MOPs on live systems under operational conditions
  • Perform UPS failover simulations under load
  • Respond to cooling system fault alerts and execute isolation procedures
  • Monitor and respond to DCIM alarm events in real time
  • Complete LOTO procedures on MV switchgear
  • Operate generators through startup, load transfer, and controlled shutdown

Not Starting From Scratch.

The FCTech Academy San José Training Lab is being built using the same equipment logic, design standards, and operational procedures as our proven facility — scaled and adapted for the U.S. market and U.S. regulatory requirements. We are replicating what works.

System Specification Training Application
Power System 200 KVA Modular UPS · 4×20 KVA modules · 40×100Ah batteries · Smart PDU + ATS UPS failover, load transfer, battery maintenance, ATS simulation
Cooling System 2× CCU Row-Based Units · 35 kW each, air-cooled · BAS-integrated control Cooling fault response, commissioning, HVAC-to-DC integration
IT Infrastructure 13-rack micro-module · 11 IT racks + 2 ancillary · Cold aisle containment Rack operations, cable management, server install/decommission
DCIM & Monitoring MDU controller · Temp/humidity/leak sensors · 55″ live display wall Alarm response, environmental monitoring, EPMS operations
Physical Security Multi-zone access control · CCTV · Smoke and fire detection Security procedures, fire suppression response, access audit

Same equipment logic. Same design standards. Built on operational experience that no other training program in the United States can replicate. Training on industry-standard UPS, cooling, switchgear, and DCIM systems found in live Tier III/IV data centers.
